Indian architectural heritage is one of the many aspects of Indian culture that underscore the rich cultural repository bequeathed to us by our ancestors. This exercise explores the different styles of Hindu temple and Islamic architecture. The attempt is to understand the structures in terms of their planning, volumes, materials, details and cultural relevance. Through the study, the structures of Litthal Temple, Konark Sun Temple, Kailashnath Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Gol Gumbaz, Fatehpur Sikri, Atala Masjid were analysed.
